Neon Architecture live was only performed 3 times in the summer of 2019. The full version which was recorded on video was performed only once at Ochiai soup in Tokyo to celebrate my 10th anniversary. It was also the last time I performed a full live concert. Neon Architecture is a living document similar to jazz in that there is no definitive version. Because of the pandemic and the passage of time, it is increasingly unlikely that I will get the chance again to perform Neon Architecture in its entirety which is sad. So I have decided to release the last performance of NEON ARCHITECTURE and a new studio recording made this year of 2021.
Being a living document, it can never be performed exactly the same so this new recording indeed is different than the live recording. Think of this like Miles Davis recording the same music on tour and every night is never the same.
This music for me is intense and the arc of the total is an exciting and vibrant story of new world architecture and modern life.
Only the first part of NEON ARCHITECTURE has been recorded before.

I hope that this music finds an audience that appreciates it.
