This is a covid release.
Created mostly while in isolation from COVID transmission.

Chromatic Lack of Gravity is also a concept work of the loss of gravity on earth. The loss of our main constants. The rules of our universe on this planet decide how we interact with life and humanity. The loss of these rules suddenly would be traumatic and fascinating together. Unlike other sicknesses of which I have had many, COVID is like having an almost out of body experience. Loss of self in sickness is the same as our loss of mental health due to COVID quarantine restrictions which I imagine to be the same as losing gravity on earth.

There are many things we take for granted. Almost everything we do on a daily basis is only achieved with constants. One of the greatest being gravity. It governs how fast we go, what directions we perceive and so on. Losing it suddenly would be a wonder at first but eventually would disrupt all sense that we make of the world. Just like COVID has done. I created the majority of this work while sick with COVID and then recovering in isolation. Being cut off from the world in isolation is like losing the feeling of our feet firmly on the ground.

Our judgement of time, our movement around the world, our ability to anticipate anything. Lost in the corruption of the senses. However this release is also about our return to normality. The dominating heavy beats point to the lifestyles we have missed and want to return to. The vitality and commonality of the club / concert scene which celebrates everything that excites us about existence. Though changed, we all are reintroducing ourselves to the future of 2022. Getting back what we lost for 2 years.
